When we got into the airplane I sensed something was off. I didn't know what precisely, but that will soon change. When I wanted to start the engine, the canopy popped off! Along with the glass bulletproof headrest, with a loud bang surprising everyone. The mission itself was calm, we met friendly Ju-52s and 2x Hurricane. I didn't get to shoot my guns.
