The weather today was terrible. We were on a patrol around the front of Krymskay when we lost our way into enemy lines due to poor visibility. Our flight strayed too close to an enemy airfield and Eric was hit by a AAA site and went down behind enemy lines. Hopefully, he can make it back to friendly territory before the red army catches him.
On our path, we encountered another AAA Site and engaged the battery. I ended up getting a direct hit and igniting the ammunition storage, destroying the gun.
The rest of the flight was plagued with navigation issues as we missed our designated patrol area. No contacts were found, but another flight encountered heavy higher contact to our east. We were unable to find any other enemy contacts in our area.
