Early morning recon cover for Akrymskaya. Escorted the Ju88, he stayed station for much longer than expected and took some heavy AA. Passing over Krymskaya on egress, a flight of P40's came in and 6th broke off to engage. Stab flight continued escorting the recon plane home. He unfortunately called bingo fuel right over anapa and ended up crashing into the cliff. Recon photos and crew are likely lost. Will check the wreckage on the coast and try to salvage what we can.
