Bit of a fun one today, with a rough ending. Took off for a two plane CAP just east of Krymskaya, dove in on what turned out to be 110s before finding a pack of Il-2s low and unescorted. Nick Weber got three, I got one, and we both got hit -- him by a gunner, and I by flak. He landed successfully at Krymskaya but when I came in it turned out I'd lost a wheel. Ended up flipping, but I'm okay! I think! The doctor says so, at the very least, but my bruises don't. I'm glad for Weber, though, he's finally over ten victories.
