8 plane escort for 8 Heinkels to bomb the shit out of Abinskaya. No contact on the way in to the target, but just after bombs away, we spotted 5 enemy planes trying to land at Abinskaya, probably an enemy flight low on fuel after a recon. We stayed up high and did not engage in order to save fuel since this was a VERY deep mission.
Also spotted a friendly Ju88 up very high reconning the area. said whatsup.
Heinkels took flak over anapa 2 and taman but all of them made it back.
Successful mission, except for someone blew up their engine on take off. no claims
