Flew wingman for groupkommander for a cover mission on the coast. spotted a HUGE flight of about 10 planes over the channel. at least 6 planes on top cover and another 6 or 7 planes down low. Ended up being yaks on top cover for P39 attack planes. We dove in to break up the attack and it worked, attack planes never made it to the target. Staying on wing for Lead, I witnessed 2 confirmed kills and 1 probable.

Headed back to RTB, it looks like only Charon from 6th staffel made it back and 3 of us from the lead flight. Unfortunately I had a gear malfunction and had to belly land on the runway, no damage to the plane otherwise.
