Mission to penetrate enemy airspace east of Abinskaya. On patrol, spotted 9-10 aircraft in multiple formations north of abinskaya. Turned north to ID. 1 flight turned back towards us, ID'd as 5x hurricanes. engaged. 4 were shot down, 1 had a mid air collision with Yellow 3. Yellow 3 is KIA.
Yellow 12 and I continued patrol, and spotted a flight of 4x IL2's. engaged and shot one down before being forced to turn away due to enemy AA from the neaby abinskaya airfield.
