Yellow 10 experienced engine problems and aborted after takeoff.
Long mission to bomb bridge near some unpronounceable city. Sighted two contacts to our north on the way to target, but avoided them.
Some confusion in run-in to target. The plan had been for me to draw fire, but Yellow 12 and I wound up going in simultaneously while Yellow 3 targeted the wrong bridge. No harm: AA gunners were late opening fire, and both 12 and I got hits on two separate spans.
Everyone did a good job of avoiding AA, but we did wind up rather dispersed and had trouble reforming. Flew up north afterwards in hopes of reacquiring our contacts, but they were long gone.
