intercept over Eltigen with a flight of 6. Big furball of fighters over the town and we saw a 2nd flight coming in very high. We climbed to the south to intercept the high flight. 3x bombers of somekind and 6 p39s on top cover. The bombers ran and the p39s dove to intercept. Lost black 10 in the climb out, he was bounced by a p39 and blew up. We mopped up 5 or 6 of the fighters, it was a mix of hurrican mk2's and p39s.

We then patrolled east to see if we could catch the bombers or flight of IL2s we saw but they were already too far away.

I managed to damage and shoot down a hurricane and a p39.
