Immediately after reaching cruise altitude of 2500m Black 1 saw enemy aircraft low, as we moved to investigate we were jumped by six Hurricane Mk2's, Black 4 was almost immediately shot down but bailed out successfully. In the engagement I downed two Hurricanes before Black 1 was shot down and bailed out over friendly lines. I attempted to engage two remaining Hurricanes but was damaged by one of them. I managed to make an emergency landing on a road behind out lines.
