Intense mission.
Takeoff was beautiful at 6:00 AM right as the sun was rising. We climbed up to our patrol over the Neptune Offensive, when we spotted 5x La-5s heading at us. We turned to engage and climbed above them to get the drop. After an intense dogfight, Ivon pushed his engine too hard and Will had a La-5 hit his radiator.
I escaped multiple attacks and left the combat area with 3 kills.
We sent a truck to pick up both our downed boys. It seems like they arrived back ok!
