Final flight out of Anapa to transfer to our new home at Kerch Airfield on the eastern aspect of the Crimean Peninsula. Escorting 3 resupply Ju 52 planes to the front lines around lakes directly north east of Varenikovskaya. Engaged with a large number of Spitfire MkVs losing several Bf109s in the process.
Managed to shot down a Spit V tailing a Ju 52.
Returned safely to Kerch
