Escort mission for a flight of 190s doing ground attack deep into enemy lines. I was element leader for the first time. Took some getting used to! Yellow 10 followed me east, where we broke off from the main flight and went after a lone B-25. I damaged him and 10 finished him off, and then we went to catch up to the formation. They got in a tangle that we were unable to find and Yellow 12 went down. Landed back at Anapa without incident.
