2 man patrol. Encountered resistance almost immediately over the mountains south of krymskaya. White 3 and I spotted a flight of 2x PE2. Dove in to attack. both destroyed, 1 kill each.

however we were also jumped by a flight of 3 Yaks AND flight of 2 spitfires during the engagement. I took a hit to the tail and headed back to base with 2 spitfires and a yak close on my tail who gave chase for quite some time. Successfully evaded enemy shots until the superior speed of the 109 allowed me to extend far enough away until they eventually broke off. White 3 managed to get 2 yaks before getting chased from the area as well.

Both planes RTB with minor damage. overall a success, but a close call.
