Intercept mission, south of the channel. 4x 109 in formation.
Patrolled the AO and spotted flight of 4. Identified as LA5 FN x2 and x2 regular LA5. We engaged, getting all 4, I shot down 2. Since we were in the area, we decided to attack the Taman airfield. We took out 4 AAA/flak nests, 2 spotlights and then proceeded to destroy parked planes. I got 1 AAA, 1 spotlight, 1 parked plane, and 1 truck.
We then needed to RTB due to bingo fuel, but we spotted more contacts south of Taman, feet wet. We landed back at Bagerovo, Re-armed and Re-refueld and headed back to Taman. We spotted a U2 doing some recon, Vak destroyed it. Then we destroyed 2 more AAA nests. Vak got 1 and I got one.
All in all about a 1.5 hour mission, with lots of engagements. Great success
