Escort mission north of Anapa 2. 4x 109's escorting 5 HS129 attackers to destroy an ammo dump.
Mission went very poorly. The hour was very late so it was dark af, and cloud cover/fog was very thicc. We lost sight of the attack planes on ingress and could never pick them back up. We patrolled along the coast towards anapa but spotted no contacts. Returned back along the coast. No contacts. RTB successfully. Attackers did eventually make it to the target and back.
