Woke up this morning and waltzed into briefing. Turns out we had an escort mission -- my first, and apparently almost everyone else's. Stab and Yellow flights went separately. I lost the rest of the flight in a cloud, but heard about a massive furball and managed to locate the action (too late to intervene). Same went for a few other encounters on the way home. Exciting, but disappointing. Wish I could've gotten a piece of the action.
