The mission began with taking off as usual. We formed up in line formation flying just above the waves. The mission was to attack an enemy artillery position with bombs and guns. Once we made it to the position one by one we dropped our bombs. After that we did heavy damage to the target. We eventually started heading back after destroying everything in the area. As we were leaving we spotted a group of enemy fighters most likely on their way to attack us. When we made it back to airfield it appeared to have been bombed. I managed to slighly damage an il2 attacking a friendly train.
