Holy crap what a crazy escort mission. Escorted FW190s south of krymskaya with stab flight and 6. staffel. 6th stayed on escort, stab stayed on overwatch.
Stab flight spotted a huge furball on the coast near the 2nd smaller bay. ran wingman for stab lead until I lost him in the terrain. Stab was hit and had to bail. I blew up a Lagg3, saw several other claims. Stab and 6th regrouped near krymskaya and continued to RTB with the 190's. They were jumped by a flight of P40s and P39s. The 190s actually managed to take care of them on their own.
On RTB, I spotted 2 more planes up high, thinking friendlies on RTB. They were actually a group of A20s. I engaged by myself and requested backup. I shot 1 down as 6th was able to join and shoot down the 2nd one.
Finally RTB to anapa winchester and bingo.
