We took off and proceeded to the patrol area in tight formations due . Along the way we spotted something we thought were friendlies. It later turned out they weren't. We spotted some Il2 sturmoviks lower than us to the right . We broke off formation and I was covering Kirks 6. As I was his wingman for the flight. I was watching Kirk and all the sudden I saw a fuel leak and immediately he started spinning so i went after the IL2s scoring a ok hit on one of them. I got hit by some flak without any damage immediately being known. I soon noticed a black residue building up on the windshield. I knew I was leaking oil. So I started heading back trying to find everyone else eventually finding them. I was guided into landing by Duro because of the oil on the windscreen. It kept building up progressively making it harder to see. The landing went surprisingly well with me nearly hitting a truck due to the almost zero visibility.
