Me and Yellow 3 took off on a two man flight to engage enemy contacts near Krimskaya. Altitude was 1.1km when we engaged. There was no enemy fighters in the vincinity so it was like shooting fish in a barrel. Myself took down 3 enemy Ilyushin aircraft, while also taking a bullet by an enemy gunner. Even trade-off. Yellow 3 downed 1 enemy aircraft and was wounded on landing due to enemy fire which took out his left wheel. His aircraft flipped violently before coming to a stop but he is expected to make a full recovery.
