Scramble to intercept incoming attack planes. Yellow 12 was abducted by aliens in flight (disconnected and left the mission) so we only had 2 planes.
Intercepted a flight of IL2 near Kievso, shot 3 of them down then was directed south to the bay of novarossk for an additional unknown flight.
Changed vectors and intercepted, ID'd them as Yak9s x5. White 8 and I dove in using drag and pull tactics but we were overcome and we were both shot down, however we were able to bail and were picked up by friendly forces. We were able to take down 1 of the Yaks before bailing.
G4 and G6 destroyed.
