we were dispatched to provide cover for a battery of artillerymen. We searched for enemies before stumbling on two p39. both destroyed with zero friendly casualties. The next contact was the fighter escorts over the il2 who were preparing to attack our artillery. we believe they were a group of lagg5. I put hits on two lagg5. I broke and attacked the il2. putting hits on two il2. I continued on a provided cover for other pilots. I then dove on a a fighter who was attacking a teammate. I covered my lead as he finished off another il2. The last enemy plane in the area seemed to be a yak. I destroyed him nd RTB. Total 4 confirmed two light one medium.
