Encountered two flights near spotted lakes. Element 2 engaged Pe-2s high, while Element 1 engaged Il-2 low. I claim one Pe-2 destroyed in fireball. Witnessed one other Pe-2 kill. Element 1 chased remaining Pe-2 east; Element 2 chased radar contact south. Eventually located 4x Il-2 at very low level over the mountains.
Yellow 2 collided with tail Il-2 and was killed. #3 Il-2 failed to clear mountain due to damage; I claim this plane. Element 1 then rejoined me and we shot up the remaining Il-2s badly.
