Better weather. Escorted 3x Fw 190 to bomb some submarines, but ran head-on into a flight of... let's say "lots" of La-5FNs. It was very sketchy at times, but we managed a perfect fight in spite of it all devolving into a wild melee. I managed to shoot one through the front glass in a head-on -- he appeared to go down, but I couldn't confirm.
Later followed two P-40s; witnessed both shot down.
