Took off from Anapa with Yellow 1. Engaged enemy fighters intercepting friendly transport planes. Me and Yellow 1 engaged and soon lost each other due to the furball of a dogfight. Soon after Yellow 1 had his aileron shot out and had to bail. I saw his chute open over friendly lines. Myself fought on and bagged 2 enemy Lagg-3's and 1 La-5. I returned back to base with holes in my right wing.
