2 man flight to patrol over Krymskaya. Intercepted a flight of 7 or 8 Lagg's firing upon friendly JU52's.
Heavily damaged a Lagg3 but was still flying, no claim. I was jumped by 2 Lagg's and lost my right aileron. Lost control of the plane and had to bail out over friendly lines.
Wingman claims 3 kills which were confirmed by friendly ground observers and was able to RTB with minor damages.
