Took off from Anapa. Weather was terrible. Did routine CAP, and engaged enemy Yak fighters. I myself shot one down. My propeller hit the enemy aircraft due to being too close. Limped as far North West as I could and hit a tree and my plane flipped upside down and tail broke off. Wehrmacht picked me up in a hospital truck. Was wounded and destined to fly another day!
