The battle for Krimskaya has begun.

Our mission was to patrol the front lines and screen out any contacts heading to the objective. we took off from Staro-Nijne-Steblievskaya and headed south at an altitude of 5800 meters. Once over the lines, we spotted a group of C-47 transports para dropping troops into the area. I told the second element to break and engage while myself and my wingman White 6 stayed high to cover for fighters. All enemy aircraft were destroyed with no incidents after. The lines over the city were scattered with thick smoke from heavy ground battles taking place. This is only the beginning of a long defense we must hold.
