Flight of four went up on an intercept/patrol over the channel, ended up encountering a flight of Il-2s escorted by Yaks. Flew lead wingman, followed Biertrinker in to down a Yak and then bounce on the Sturmoviks. Made a single pass before my left aileron was shot off and I lost most of my turning ability, forcing me to head back to the airfield and bail. Not the happiest, but at least I got one.
