Jagdgeschwader 52 (JG 52) was a unit of the German Air Force. The squadron was mainly deployed on the Eastern Front during World War II. It remains the most successful fighter squadron to this day.

Among the best known unit members were Erich Hartmann, Gerhard Barkhorn and Günther Rall. The unit's standard aircraft was the Bf 109.

Jagdgeschwader 3 "Udet" (JG 3) was a traditional squadron of the German Air Force in World War II, named after the fighter pilot in World War I, Ernst Udet.

They participated is most of the major fronts of WWII including North Africa, Western Front, and Eastern Front.
